Louis XIII was born in 1601.  Louis XIII's father was Henry IV France King of France and his mother was Marguerite de France. He had a brother and three sisters, named Gaston Jean-Baptiste, Elisabeth, Christine and Henrietta Maria.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 42 in 1643.
