Geraldus was born in 1070 in Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 Geraldus' father was Walter FitzOther and his mother was Gladys verch Rhywallon. His paternal grandfather was Dominus Otheus Other; his maternal grandfather was Rhywallon ap Conwyn. He was an only child. He died before 1136.1
