Philemon Beecher Ewing 
Philemon Beecher was born in 1820.1 Philemon Beecher's father was Thomas Ewing and his mother was Maria Wills Boyle. His paternal grandparents were George Ewing and Rachel Harris; his maternal grandfather was Hugh Boyle. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George, Hugh Boyle, Thomas, Charles, Eleanor Boyle and Maria. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 76 in 1896.1 -
