Mary was born on August 1st, 1639 in Hartford, Hartford, CT.1 Mary's father was James Ensign and her mother was Sarah Elson. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas Ensign; her maternal grandparents were Abraham Elson and Rebecca Unknown. She had a brother and two sisters, named David, Sarah and Hannah. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 83 on July 1st, 1723 in Hadley, Hampshire, MA.1 -
