William Comyn Earl of Buchan 
William Comyn's father was Richard Comyn Lord Tynedale and his mother was Hextilda FitzUchtred. His paternal grandparents were William Comyn and Maud Basset; his maternal grandparents were Uchtred FitzWaldeve and Bethoc of Scotland. He was an only child. He died in 1233.1 General Notes
