Sanford Dow 
Sanford was born in 1764 in Coventry, Tolland, CT.1 Sanford's father was Pelatiah Dow and his mother was Catherine Rose. His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Dow and Elizabeth Clark. He had a brother and six sisters, named John, Mabel, Elizabeth, Jane, Hannah, Margery and Clarinda. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 49 in 1813 in Hanover, Grafton, NH.1 -
