Walter Dreux was born in Normandy, France.1 Walter Dreux's father was Gautier II the White Ct de Vexin and his mother was Adele de Senlis. His paternal grandparents were Gautier I Ct de Vexin and Adele Cts de Vexin; his maternal grandfather was Bormard de Senlis. He had two brothers and a sister, named Raoul II, Raoul III and Alix. He died on July 1st, 1035 in Bithynia.1
