Manasses de Ramerupt was born in 1010 in Dampmartin, France.1   Manasses de Ramerupt's father was Hildouin II de Montdidier Ct de Roucy and his mother was daughter de Dammartin.  His paternal grandparents were Helpuin Ct de Arcis-Sur-Aube and Hersinde Dame de Rameru. He had a brother named Hildouin III de Montdidier.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died  due to Killed. at the age of 27 in 1037 in Battle of Bar, France.1
