John Cotton 
John was born on December 4th, 1585 in Derby, England.1 John's father was Roland Cotton and his mother was Mary Hurlbert. His paternal grandparents were George Cotton and Margaret Whittacre. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Roland, Thomas, Mary and Dorothy. He died at the age of 67 on December 23rd, 1652 in Boston, Suffolk, MA.1 -
