Phebe Casto 
Phebe was born in 1776 in Pendleton, VA.1 Phebe's father was David Casto and her mother was Margaret Elizabeth Province. Her paternal grandparents were David Casto and Phoebe Gandy; her maternal grandparents were John William Province and Elizabeth Thompson. She had three brothers and two sisters, named George, David D, John D, Sarah and Margaret. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 59 in 1835.1 -
