John Brett Cary 
John Brett was born in 1789.1 John Brett's father was John B Cary and his mother was Lucy McKay. His paternal grandparents were Barnabas Cary and Mary Scott. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Miner, Barnabas, Joseph, William, Daniel, Isaac H, Mary, Sarah, Lucy, Lois and Eliza. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 81 in 1870.1 -
