David Cary 
David was born in 1810 in , Shelby, OH.1 David's father was Cephas Cary and his mother was Jane Williamson. His paternal grandparents were Ezra Cary and Lydia Thompson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John W, William Allen, Thomas M, Jeremiah, Lydia, Nancy W and Drusilla. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had six half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Benjamin Wesley, Stephen Carter, Simeon B, Harvey G, Jason S, Milton T, Sally Ann and Mary T.-
