Althea Cary 
Althea was born in 1744 in Windham, Windham, CT.1 Althea's father was Eleazer Cary and her mother was Jerusha Wales. Her paternal grandparents were Eleazer Cary and Lydia Throope. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Eleazer, Nathan, Phineas, Susannah, Prudence, Lydia and Jerusha. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
