Nanning Bogardus 
Nanning was born on May 11th, 1761 in Coxsackie, Greene, NY. Nanning's father was Ephraim Bogardus and his mother was Annetje (Johanna) Hollenbeck. His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Bogardus and Agnetje DeGarmo; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Hallenbeck and Maria Visscher. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Ephraim, Jacob, Ephraim S, Hendrick, Petrus, Johannis, Anthony, Agnietie, Maria, Catharine, Alida and Annaetje. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 67 in 1828 in Greenville, Greene, NY.General Notes
