Abigail was born in 1681 in Middletown, Middlesex, CT.1 Abigail's father was John Blake and her mother was Sarah Hall. Her paternal grandparents were John Blake and Elizabeth Unknown; her maternal grandparents were Richard Hall and Mary Anthony. She had three brothers and four sisters, named John, Jonathan, Stephen, Mercy, Sarah, Mary and Elizabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
