William Belden

William was born in 1622 in , Yorkshire, England.¹   William's father was Richard Belden and his mother was Margaret Ackreden. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, John, Susan, Mary, Grace and Sara.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 33 in 1655 in Hartford, Hartford, CT.¹
