John Beckwith

John was born in 1681 in Lyme, New London, CT.¹ John's father was Nathaniel Beckwith and his mother was Martha Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Beckwith and Mary Elizabeth Lynne. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Nathaniel, Joseph, Mary, Susanna and Martha. He was the second oldest of the six children.
