Thomas was born on July 25th, 1658 in Dedham, Norfolk, MA.1 Thomas' father was Thomas Battle and his mother was Mary Fisher. His paternal grandfather was Richard Battell; his maternal grandparents were Joshua Fisher and Elizabeth Fisher. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Jonathan, Daniel, Samuel, Mary, Sarah and Martha. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
