John Ashley 
John was born in 1709 in Westfield, Hampden, MA.1 John's father was John Ashley and his mother was Mary Sheldon Whiting. His paternal grandparents were David Ashley and Hannah Glover; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Whiting and Mary Pynchon. He had a brother named Preserved. He was the older of the two children. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Moses, Ebenezer, Noah, Roger, Sarah, Hannah and Lydia. He died at the age of 93 in 1802 in Sheffield, Berkshire, MA.1 -
