Baldwin I, Count of Flanders in 858, = Baldwin Forester, the Iro n Arm. He was a French nobleman who eloped with a daughter of Ch arles II the Bald of France, and was finally acknowledged by hi s father-in-law as governor of the countship of Flanders from 86 4 till his death in 878/9.
