Thelma Shealy
West Columbia - Services for Thelma Azilee Shealy, 84, will be held at 3
p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, at Boiling Springs United Methodist Church,
with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Shealy will be placed in the
church at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at
Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes, Lexington Chapel. memorials may be made
to Boiling Springs United Methodist Church or Hospice of the Midlands.
Mrs. Shealy, widow of N. Ryan Shealy, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998. Born
in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Luther Washington and
Minnie Lula Backman Ricard. She was a lifetime member of Boiling Springs
United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Betty J. Roberts and Charles
of Orange Park, Fla., Ruby S. Mack and Bobby of West Columbia; sisters,
Julia Keisler and Mary Steele, both of Lexington; brothers, Eugene Ricard
of West Columbia, Glenn and Herman Ricard, both of Lexington; five
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.[Sease#2.FTW]
