Narrative
[Chapman.FTW]
illiam Anderson appears on the records of the town of Bridlington,
Yorkshire, England, as "the holder of a cottage and a field of pasture"
in 1636. For these holdings, he was assessed the sum of one shilling
per month for Poor Law Relief. Also in that same year (1636), an
apprentice was bound out to him. The Church Register contains no record
of his date of birth or death, nor does it contain the name of his wife.
