Narrative
[WilliamPatrickGarvin.FTW]
George came to America from Scotland as a soldier in the army of General Braddock. His two brothers remained in New York and Pennsylvania after the Indian War, but George came South to South Carolina. When the British captured S.C. in 1780, George was commissioned as a Major of the Orangeburgh Dist. Regiment. He was not a violent Tory, because his daughters all married men who served in the American Revolution. His daughter Annah married out ancestor, Isaac Hutto, Jr.
