Patrick, Earl of Salisbury
His name is sometimes mistakenly given as d'Evereux, but this i s spurious. The family of the Earls of Salisbury never used tha t name, they do not descend from the Norman Counts of Evreux, no r do the later Devereux derive from them. This name should NEVE R be used for the Salisbury family.
