Eleanor was born in 1054 in of Thouars, Deux-Sevres, France.1 Eleanor's father was Aimery IV Vct de Thouars and her mother was Ameline Moulcon. Her paternal grandparents were Geoffroi II Vct de Thouars and Aenor (de Thouars). She had a sister named Ildegarde. She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-sister named Hildegarde. She died at the age of 39 in 1093.1 -
