Edith was born in Hook Norton, Oxfordshire, England.1 Edith's father was Robert de Oilly II Lord Hook Norton and her mother was Edith Sigulfson. Her paternal grandparents were Nigel de Oilly and Agnes (de Oilly); her maternal grandfather was Forn Sigulfson Lord Cumberland. She was an only child. She died after 1165.1 -
