Almonde was born about 0990.1 Almonde's father was Bernard I de la Marche and her mother was Amelia de Montignac. Her paternal grandparents were Adalbert I de la Haute Marche and Almode de Limoges; her maternal grandparents were Geraud de Montignac and Nonia de Granol. She was an only child. Almonde (or Almodis), c990-1075, was murdered by her step-son Pi erre Ramon/Raymonde Barenguer, and was the daughter of Bernar d I Count of La Marche by Aina/Amelia de Montgnac. Almodis marri ed first Pons, Count of Toulouse: they were divorced. Almodis ma rried 2nd Hugh V de Lusignan: they were divorced. Almodis marrie d 3rd Ramond Berenger II, Count of Barcelona. Almodis had a brot her Adelbert III, Count of la Marche.
