Isabel was born about 1210 in Buckinghamshire, England.1 Isabel's father was James de Condé and her mother was daughter de Rouex. Her paternal grandparents were Nicholas de Condé and Isabel de Moreaumes; her maternal grandparents were Eustace de Rouex and Marie de Mortaigne. She was an only child.
