Boso II's father was Hugh de Chastellerault and his mother was Gerberga de la Rochefoucauld.  His paternal grandparents were Boso I de Chastellerault and Amelie; his maternal grandparents were Foucauld I de Rochefoucauld and Gersinde.  He was an only child.  He died in 1092.1
