Sir Robert Wingfield 
Sir Robert was born in 1403 in Letheringham, Suffolk. Sir Robert's father was Sir Robert de Wingfield and his mother was Elizabeth Russell. His paternal grandparents were Sir John de Wingfield and Margaret De Hastings; his maternal grandparents were John Russell and Agnes. He was an only child. He died at the age of 48 in 1451. He was buried in 1451 in Letheringham, Suffolk.General Notes
He was Steward of the lands of the Duke of Norfolk. He Knighted by Henry VI at Hereford on 19 May 1426. He Member of Parliament for Suffolk in 1427. He was Attended the Duke on an embassy to France in 1447. He Member of Parliament for Hertfordshire in 1449.
