M.L. was born in 1852.1 M.L.'s father was William Webb and his mother was Rebecca Kinard. His maternal grandparents were Graham Kinard and Eve Sease. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James U., T.A., Martha E. and Mary E.. He was the second youngest of the five children.-
