Maud was born in of Enniscorthy & Duffrey, Wexford, Ireland.1   Maud's father was Theobald FitzWalter Lord Preston and her mother was Maud le Vavasour.  Her paternal grandparents were Hervey Walter and Matilda de Valoines; her maternal grandparents were Robert le Vavasour and Juliane Ross. She had a brother named Theobald. She had a half-brother named Fulk FitzWarin IV.  She died on November 27th, 1283.2
