Adelbert I's father was Hermann Lord Of Saffenberg and his mother was Gapa Of Werl. His paternal grandfather was Adolf II; his maternal grandfather was Adalbert Count Of Werl. He was an only child. He died on December 16th, 1109.1 General Notes
