Geoffrey was born about 1086 in of Porhoët, France.1 Geoffrey's father was Eudon Vct of Porhoët & Rennes and his mother was Anne de Leon. His paternal grandfather was Josselin de Bretagne Vct of Rennes. He had a half-brother named Geoffrey. He died in 1141.1
