Francis Thornton 
Francis was born about 1500 in ENG.1 Francis' father was Robert Thornton and his mother was Jane Layton. His paternal grandparents were William Thornton and Agnes Aldborough. He was an only child. He died in 1566 in "The Hills", Yorkshire, ENG.1 -
