St. was born in 0613 in Landen, Liege, Belgium.1 St.'s father was Pepin I the Elder Ct of Landen and her mother was Iduberga (Itta) von Schelde. Her paternal grandfather was Carloman Major Domus Mayor of Austrasia; her maternal grandparents were Arnoldus de Moselle Lord Moselle and Oda von Schwaben. She was an only child. The Calendar of the Saints says after her husband was killed
hunting she decided to make a pilgrimage to Rome. On returning
home she founded seven churches at Ardenne of the Meuse. She
also set up an abbey at the same place where she died. 17 Dec
is her feast day.
