John Thomas Spruiell 
John Thomas was born on December 28th, 1876 in St. Clair, AL.1 John Thomas' father was William Robert "Bob" Spruiell and his mother was Hester Ann Taylor Speer. His paternal grandparents were John Simpson Spruill and Nancy Agnes Carmichael. He had six brothers and six sisters, named William Walter, Robert Mason, Joseph Minton, Abraham Gordon, Hampton, Marcus, Nancy Elizabeth Lola, Sarah Della, Alice Valerie, Julia, Lucy L. and Hester. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 61 on January 16th, 1938.1 -
