Sir 
Sir was born about 1242 in of Great Strickland.1 Sir's father was Robert de Vaux de Strickland and his mother was daughter de Gellellestone. His paternal grandparents were Robert de Vaux de Strickland and Beatrice de Cotesford. He was an only child. He died in of Sizergh Castle, Westmorland.1 General Notes
