Surene Sawyer 
Surene was born in 1842.1 Surene's father was Ansel Sawyer and her mother was Mary Kinard. Her maternal grandparents were Graham Kinard and Eve Sease. She had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Pink, William, George and Frances. She was the oldest of the six children.-
