Barden was born about 1785 in Culpeper Co. Virginia.1 Barden's father was Jr. Rucker William and his mother was Elizabeth Alexander. His paternal grandparents were William Rucker and Honor; his maternal grandfather was James Alexander. He was an only child. He died in Elbert Co. Georgia.1 -
