Sigurd "Snake-in-Eye"'s father was Ragnar Sigurdsson "Lodbrok" King of Lethra and his mother was Aslaug Sigurdsdottir. His paternal grandparents were Sigurd Hring Ranvarsson King of Lethra and Alfhild Gandolsdottir; his maternal grandfather was Sigurd Wolsung. He had two brothers and a sister, named Bjorn "Ironside" Ragnarsson, Ivar "the Boneless" and Alof. He died in 0891 in Louvain.1 General Notes
