Burtha was born on September 21st, 1051 in Maurienne.1 Burtha's father was Otto Count Of Savoy, Marquess Of Turin and her mother was Adelaide Markgrafin Of Susa. Her paternal grandparents were Humbert I Count Of Savoy and Amilia; her maternal grandparents were Ulric Manfred II Marquess Of Turin and Bertha. She had a brother named Amadeus II. She had a half-brother named Gebhard I. She died at the age of 36 on December 27th, 1087 in Maguncia. She was buried in Spayer.1 1 General Notes
