Duke Ansgise was born in 0602.1 Duke Ansgise's father was Saint Arnulf Bishop Of Metz and his mother was Dode. His paternal grandparents were Bodogisel and Saint Ode; his maternal grandfather was Arnoldus Bishop Of Metz. He had a brother named Clodoule. He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother named Anguise. He died at the age of 83 in 0685.1 General Notes
