Leofric's father was Leofwine. He was an only child. He died on August 31st, 1057 in Bromley, Stafford, England.1 General Notes

prob. by 1030 (pos. as her (2) husb.) Godgifu (or Godiva), b. pr ob. ca. 1010, sister of Thorold of Buckingham, sheriff of Lincho lnshire. Godgifu's ancestry is uncertain , but she was evidentl y of an old, noble family. She is the "Lady Godiva" of legend. T hey had one known child.
