Most pedigrees ascribe only one wife to Romanos I. It is clear, however,
that he was married twice. Only Theophylaktos, born in 917, is known to
be the child of his second wife Theodora, and I have assumed that Helene,
Agatha, and Christophoros are the children of his first wife whose name
we do not know [Ref: Brook p19]
