Johannes Kolb was born May 19, 1683 and died in South Carolina in 1765(?). He came to America in 1707 with brothers Martin and Jacob and settled first in Germantown and by 1709 in Skippack. He also owned land in Coventry township in Chester Co. He married Sarah (?). Some time after 1734, he moved to South Carolina and received a grant of 650 acres in the Causeway Neck of the Pee Dee River in South Carolina in 1737. #Children5
