John was born on May 24th, 1774.1 John's father was Jacob Kirk and his mother was Elizabeth Cleaver. His maternal grandparents were John Cleaver and Elizabeth Levering. He was an only child. He died at the age of 67 on June 28th, 1841.1 General Notes
