Donnchad O'Brien King of Munster

Donnchad O'Brien's father was Brian Bóruma macCennétig King of Ireland and his mother was Gormflaeth ingen Murchada MacFinn. His paternal grandfather was Cennétig of Thomond King of Thomond; his maternal grandparents were Murchad King of Leinster and daughter O'Ruarc. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Teige (Terence), Sihtric Silkbeard Olafsson and Slani ingen Briain. He died in 1064 in San Stefano Rotondo Church, Rome, Italy.¹
