Ferdinand I was born in 1019.1 Ferdinand I's father was Sancho King Of Castile, Navarre, And Aragon and his mother was Munia Elvira Of Castile. His paternal grandparents were Garcia Sanches III King Of Navarre and Ximena; his maternal grandparents were Sancho I Count Of Castile and Urraca Gomez Of Saldana. He had a brother named Garcia IV. He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother named Ramirez I. He died at the age of 46 on December 27th, 1065 in Leon.1 General Notes
