Dinwiddie Grigg 
Dinwiddie was born on January 5th, 1802 in Petersburg, VA.1 Dinwiddie's father was William Grigg and his mother was Elizabeth Grubbs. His paternal grandparents were William Grigg and Charlotte Williamson. He had two brothers named Thomas and Wesley. He died at the age of 65 on May 18th, 1867.1 General Notes

Was in the War of the Rebellion. He became a political prisoner. His descendants have the original copy of his pardon signed by President Andrew Johnson.
